New York High School Basketball - Keshequa tops Hammondsport
January 8, 2024: Nunda, NY 14517 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Keshequa Indians (Nunda, NY) and the visiting Hammondsport Lakers (Hammondsport, NY), saw Keshequa's basketball squad knock off Hammondsport by a count of 57-41.
With the victory, Keshequa upgrades its record to 1-6 on the campaign. The Indians host Caledonia-Mumford (Caledonia, NY) to play the Raiders in a Section 5 Livingston 3 challenge on Wednesday, January 10. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 3-7. Caledonia-Mumford lost 81-68 in their recent non-league challenge against Hornell (Hornell, NY)
Next up, the Lakers play the Jasper-Troupsburg Wildcats (Jasper, NY) in a Section 5 Steuben 2 challenge, on Wednesday, January 10. Hammondsport will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 64-40 league loss to Arkport Central/Canaseraga (Arkport, NY).
