New York High School Basketball - Hammondsport thwarts Keshequa
November 29, 2023: Hammondsport, NY 14840 The Hammondsport Lakers (Hammondsport, NY) basketball knocked off the visiting Keshequa Indians (Nunda, NY), 51-37 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Lakers (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Canisteo-Greenwood (Canisteo, NY). The Chargers go into the Section 5 Steuben County test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Canisteo-Greenwood went down by Hornell (Hornell, NY), 58-41, in a non-league test.
The Indians now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Naples for a non-league test on Friday, December 1. Keshequa will encounter a Big Green Machines squad coming off a 56-39 non-league loss to North Rose-Wolcott (Wolcott, NY). The Big Green Machines record now stands at 0-1.
