January 8, 2024: Southbury, CT 06488 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT) and the visiting Stratford Red Devils (Stratford, CT), saw Pomperaug's basketball squad wallop Stratford by a tally of 68-29.
With the victory, Pomperaug improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Masuk (Monroe, CT) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 8-1. Masuk won 69-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Law (Milford, CT)
Next up, the Red Devils play the Immaculate Mustangs (Danbury, CT) in a Southwest - Patriot challenge, on Thursday, January 11. Stratford will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 46-42 league win over Newtown (Newtown, CT).
