February 1, 2024: Southbury, CT 06488 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT) and the visiting Immaculate Mustangs (Danbury, CT), saw Pomperaug's basketball squad overcome Immaculate by a tally of 46-38.
With the victory, Pomperaug improves its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Panthers host Kolbe-Cathedral (Bridgeport, CT) to confront the Cougars in a Southwest - Patriot challenge on Monday, February 5. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 12-5. Kolbe-Cathedral won 54-49 in their recent league challenge against Immaculate (Danbury, CT)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Kolbe-Cathedral Cougars (Bridgeport, CT) in a Southwest - Patriot challenge, on Saturday, February 3. Immaculate will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 11-5 record after their 54-32 league win over Newtown (Newtown, CT).
