The Middleton Tigers nipped the host Lennard Longhorns basketball squad by a final score of 65-59 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Wharton Wildcats (Tampa, FL) in a non-league outing, on Friday, January 10. Middleton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Wildcats enter the outing with a 12-3 record after their 53-39 non-league win over Durant (Plant City, FL).

The Longhorns (5-8) will now prepare for their outing against Newsome (Lithia, FL). The Wolves enter the non-league outing with a 15-1 record. In their last outing, Newsome got by Strawberry Crest (Dover, FL), 57-36, in a league outing.
