Florida High School Basketball - Lennard holds off Strawberry Crest

The Lennard Longhorns basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Strawberry Crest Chargers to 54 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Longhorns now have a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Plant City for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. Lennard will confront a Raiders team coming off a 81-49 non-league loss to Sarasota (Sarasota, FL). The Raiders record now stands at 10-5.

With the loss, Strawberry Crest falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Dunnellon (Dunnellon, FL) to confront the Tigers in a non-league game on Monday, December 30. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 4-6. Dunnellon lost 71-65 in their recent non-league game against Northside Christian (St. Petersburg, FL)
