North Carolina High School Basketball - Leadership Academy succumbs to Carver

In Wednesday's league test, the Carver Yellowjackets (Winston-Salem, NC) basketball squad defeated the visiting Leadership Academy Falcons (Kernersville, NC), by a final score of 39-19.

Next, the Yellowjackets clash with the Phoenix Academy Firebirds (High Point, NC) in a non-league test, on Thursday, January 9. Carver will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Firebirds come into the test with a 4-8 record after their 59-36 non-league loss to College Prep & Leadership Academy (Jamestown, NC).

The Falcons (3-8) will now prepare for their test against College Prep & Leadership Academy (Jamestown, NC). The Royals come into the 1A Northwest Piedmont test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, College Prep & Leadership Academy overcame Phoenix Academy (High Point, NC), 59-36, in a non-league test.
