North Carolina High School Basketball - Midway beaten by Lakewood

The Lakewood Leopards were victorious over the visiting Midway Raiders basketball squad by a final score of 43-32 in Thursday's non-league outing.

Next, the Leopards clash with the Union Spartans (Rose Hill, NC) in a Carolina 1A/2A outing, on Friday, January 9. Lakewood will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Spartans enter the outing with a 5-6 record after their 64-35 league loss to Lakewood (Roseboro, NC).

The Raiders (3-5) will now prepare for their outing against Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC). The Bulldogs enter the Swine Valley 2A/3A outing with a 7-5 record. In their last outing, Wallace-Rose Hill ran past Princeton (Princeton, NC), 43-25, in a league outing.
