The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Mica Mountain Thunderbolts (Tucson, AZ) and the host Mountain View Mountain Lions (Tucson, AZ), observed Mica Mountain's basketball team overwhelm Mountain View by a margin of 61-14.

The Thunderbolts (10-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Eastmark (Mesa, AZ). The Firebirds enter the non-league match with a 4-9 record.

The Mountain Lions now own a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Casa Grande for a 5A Sonoran match on Friday, January 16.
