January 9, 2023: Valmeyer, IL 62295 In Monday's non-league outing, the Gibault Catholic Hawks (Waterloo, IL) basketball squad felled the host Valmeyer Pirates (Valmeyer, IL), by a margin of 73-53.
The Hawks (15-3) will now prepare for their outing against Saxony Lutheran (Jackson, MO). The Crusaders go into the non-league outing with a 2-6 record. In their last outing, Saxony Lutheran was beaten by Central (Park Hills, MO), 71-49, in a non-league outing.
The Pirates now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Grandview for a non-league outing on Monday, January 16.
