Illinois High School Basketball - Steeleville crushes Valmeyer
December 16, 2022: Valmeyer, IL 62295 Steeleville Warriors (Steeleville, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Valmeyer Pirates (Valmeyer, IL), 77-43 in a league bout.
With the win, Steeleville upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Warriors host Trico (Campbell Hill, IL) to clash with the Pioneers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 0-8. Trico lost 64-52 in their recent non-league bout against New Athens (New Athens, IL)
Next up, the Pirates clash with the Dupo Tigers (Dupo, IL) in a Cahokia - Kaskaskia bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Valmeyer will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 79-31 league loss to New Athens (New Athens, IL).
