January 9, 2023: Cheshire, MA 01225 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the South Hadley Tigers (South Hadley, MA) and the host Hoosac Valley Hurricanes (Cheshire, MA), saw South Hadley's basketball squad overcome Hoosac Valley by a tally of 48-39.
With the victory, South Hadley improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Tigers host Wahconah Regional (Dalton, MA) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 12. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Wahconah Regional won 62-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Baystate Academy (Springfield, MA)
Next up, the Hurricanes confront the Easthampton/Hampshire Eagles (Easthampton, MA) in a Bi-County - East challenge, on Thursday, January 12. Hoosac Valley will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 60-43 non-league loss to Monument Mountain (Great Barrington, MA).
