California High School Basketball - Lake Balboa College Prep crushes Sun Valley Magnet
January 9, 2023: Lake Balboa, CA 91406 Lake Balboa College Prep Cougars (Lake Balboa, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sun Valley Magnet Pioneers (Sun Valley, CA), 56-24 in a league bout.
With the win, Lake Balboa College Prep upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Cougars host Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology (Sun Valley, CA) to play the Griffins in a Central Valley bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Griffins go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology won 63-20 in their recent league bout against Magnolia Science Academy 2 (Van Nuys, CA)
Next up, the Pioneers play the Triumph Charter Jaguars (Sylmar, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 11. Sun Valley Magnet will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 50-23 league win over North Valley Military Institute (Sun Valley, CA).
