January 9, 2023: Los Angeles, CA 90059 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the New Designs Watts Knights (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting WISH Academy Owls (Los Angeles, CA), saw New Designs Watts's basketball squad hold off WISH Academy by a tally of 37-30.
With the victory, New Designs Watts improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Burton (Los Angeles, CA) to confront the Scorpions in a Ocean challenge on Wednesday, January 11. The Scorpions come into the challenge with a record of 1-7. Burton lost 65-24 in their recent league challenge against Larchmont Charter (West Hollywood, CA)
Next up, the Owls confront the Larchmont Charter Timberwolves (West Hollywood, CA) in a Ocean challenge, on Wednesday, January 11. WISH Academy will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Timberwolves come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 78-45 league loss to Animo Venice (Los Angeles, CA).
