The Animo Venice Pirates routed the host WISH Academy Owls basketball team by a final score of 65-27 in Monday's league game.

In their next game, the Pirates face the Rancho Cucamonga Cougars (Rancho Cucamonga, CA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, December 6. Animo Venice will attempt to move on its 8-1 season record. The Cougars enter the game with a 9-0 record after their 54-50 non-league win over Etiwanda (Etiwanda, CA).
