Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Williamsport nips Selinsgrove
January 9, 2023: Selinsgrove, PA 17870 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Williamsport Millionaires (Williamsport, PA) and the host Selinsgrove Seals (Selinsgrove, PA), saw Williamsport's basketball squad hold off Selinsgrove by a tally of 59-56.
With the victory, Williamsport improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Millionaires travel to Coatesville (Coatesville, PA) to play the Red Raiders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 8-5. Coatesville lost 58-49 in their recent non-league challenge against William Penn (York, PA)
Next up, the Seals play the Shikellamy Braves (Sunbury, PA) in a Heartland I challenge, on Wednesday, January 11. Selinsgrove will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 59-51 league loss to Shamokin Area (Coal Township, PA).
