Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Central Mountain thwarts Selinsgrove

January 18, 2023: Selinsgrove, PA 17870

The Central Mountain Wildcats (Mill Hall, PA) basketball knocked off the host Selinsgrove Seals (Selinsgrove, PA), 51-42 in Wednesday's league test.

The Wildcats (12-1) will now prepare for their test against Shikellamy (Sunbury, PA). The Braves go into the Heartland I test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Shikellamy notched a victory over Jersey Shore (Jersey Shore, PA), 80-55, in a league test.

The Seals now own a 9-6 record. They play next when they host Milton for a Heartland II test on Friday, January 20. Selinsgrove will encounter a Black Panthers squad coming off a 69-50 league loss to Shamokin Area (Coal Township, PA). The Black Panthers record now stands at 6-6.
