The River Islands Riptide basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Oakdale Mustangs to 52 in the Riptide league triumph on Monday.

The Riptide now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Catholic for a contest on Saturday, January 14.

The Mustangs (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Kimball (Tracy, CA). The Jaguars enter the contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Kimball was outscored by Central Catholic (Modesto, CA), 50-39, in a league contest.
