Mississippi High School Basketball - Union holds off Enterprise
January 9, 2024: Enterprise, MS 39330 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Union Yellowjackets (Union, MS) and the host Enterprise Bulldogs (Enterprise, MS), saw Union's basketball squad hold off Enterprise by a tally of 50-44.
With the victory, Union improves its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Sebastopol (Sebastopol, MS) to confront the Bobcats in a 2A Region 4 challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 7-10. Sebastopol lost 59-52 in their recent league challenge against Philadelphia (Philadelphia, MS)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Kemper County Wildcats (DeKalb, MS) in a 3A Region 5 challenge, on Friday, January 12. Enterprise will attempt to improve on its 7-11 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 62-47 league win over Southeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS).
