Georgia High School Basketball - Northwest Whitfield crushes Southeast Whitfield County
January 9, 2024: Dalton, GA 30721 Northwest Whitfield Bruins (Tunnel Hill, GA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Southeast Whitfield County Raiders (Dalton, GA), 71-49 in a league bout.
With the victory, Northwest Whitfield upgrades its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Bruins host Heritage (Ringgold, GA) to play the Generals in a AAAA Region 7 bout on Friday, January 12. The Generals come into the bout with a record of 8-8. Heritage won 70-46 in their recent league bout against Cedartown (Cedartown, GA)
Next up, the Raiders play the Central Lions (Carrollton, GA) in a AAAA Region 7 bout, on Friday, January 12. Southeast Whitfield County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 14-2 record after their 49-44 league win over Sonoraville (Calhoun, GA).
