The Parkersburg Big Reds basketball team scored 81 points and held the host Ripley Vikings to 66 in the Big Reds non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Big Reds now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Albans for a Mountain State contest on Thursday, January 11. Parkersburg will meet a Red Dragons team coming off a 51-48 league loss to Hurricane (Hurricane, WV). The Red Dragons record now stands at 6-4.

The Vikings (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Winfield (Winfield, WV). The Generals enter the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Winfield was outscored by Sissonville (Charleston, WV), 58-53, in a league contest.
