The Spring Valley Timberwolves (Huntington, WV) basketball nipped the host Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV), 60-58 in Friday's non-league test.

The Timberwolves (12-5) will now prepare for their test against Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV). The Big Reds go into the Mountain State test with a 4-10 record. In their last test, Parkersburg was tipped by Parkersburg South (Parkersburg, WV), 75-66, in a non-league test.
