Mississippi High School Basketball - Sebastopol can't hold off Philadelphia
January 9, 2024: Sebastopol, MS 39359 The Philadelphia Tornadoes basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Sebastopol Bobcats to 52 in the Tornadoes league victory on Tuesday.
The Tornadoes now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eupora for a 2A Region 4 contest on Friday, January 12. Philadelphia will battle a Eagles team coming off a 48-46 league win over Union (Union, MS). The Eagles record now stands at 10-9.
The Bobcats (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Union (Union, MS). The Yellowjackets come into the 2A Region 4 contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Union edged Enterprise (Enterprise, MS), 50-44, in a non-league contest.
