January 9, 2024: Athens, MI 49011 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Athens Indians (Athens, MI) and the visiting St. Philip Catholic Central Fighting Tigers (Battle Creek, MI), saw Athens's basketball squad wallop St. Philip Catholic Central by a tally of 49-25.
With the victory, Athens improves its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Indians host Burr Oak (Burr Oak, MI) to play the Bobcats in a Southern Central challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Burr Oak lost 48-21 in their recent league challenge against Mendon (Mendon, MI)
