The Mendon Hornets (Mendon, MI) basketball crushed the visiting Athens Indians (Athens, MI), 51-16 in Thursday's league test.

The Hornets (3-0) will now prepare for their test against St. Philip Catholic Central (Battle Creek, MI). The Fighting Tigers go into the Southern Central test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, St. Philip Catholic Central walloped Bellevue (Bellevue, MI), 49-19, in a league test.
