Iowa High School Basketball - Bishop Garrigan knocks off Eagle Grove
January 9, 2025: Algona, IA 50511 In Thursday's league contest, the host Bishop Garrigan Golden Bears basketball team scored a good 72-62 win over the Eagle Grove Eagles.
The Golden Bears (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against West Hancock (Britt, IA). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 1-11 record. In their last contest, West Hancock was topped by Belmond-Klemme (Belmond, IA), 65-37, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the North Iowa Bison (Buffalo Center, IA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 10. Eagle Grove will attempt to better on its 5-7 season record. The Bison come into the contest with a 4-6 record after their 69-64 non-league win over Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire (Ruthven, IA).
