California High School Basketball - Jesuit can't hold off Whitney
January 9, 2025: Rocklin, CA 95765 Whitney Wildcats (Rocklin, CA) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Jesuit Marauders (Carmichael, CA), 80-77 in a league match.
With the victory, Whitney advances its record to 15-2 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills, CA) to face the Trojans in a match on Wednesday, January 15. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 10-3. Oak Ridge won 50-46 in their recent league match against Davis Sr. (Davis, CA)
The Marauders now own a 19-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Christian Brothers for a non-league match on Saturday, January 11. Jesuit will face a Falcons squad coming off a 80-46 league win over Woodcreek (Roseville, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 13-4.
