Maryland High School Basketball - Rockville thwarts Watkins Mill
January 9, 2025: Rockville, MD 20851 The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Rockville Rams (Rockville, MD) and the visiting Watkins Mill Wolverines (Gaithersburg, MD), observed Rockville's basketball team knock off Watkins Mill by a score of 38-26.
The Rams (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Sherwood (Sandy Spring, MD). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Sherwood prevailed over Springbrook (Silver Spring, MD), 39-35, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Wolverines encounter the Damascus Hornets (Damascus, MD) in a Montgomery County - 3A/2A challenge, on Friday, January 10. Watkins Mill will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record.
