Maryland High School Basketball - Sherwood overwhelms Watkins Mill

The Sherwood Warriors basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Watkins Mill Wolverines to 17 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Friday.

The Warriors now have a 18-5 record. They play next when they travel to Wootton for a non-league game on Monday, March 3. Sherwood will confront a Patriots team coming off a 51-29 non-league win over Magruder (Rockville, MD). The Patriots record now stands at 9-12.

With the loss, Watkins Mill falls to 3-20 on the campaign.
