Sahuaro Cougars (Tucson, AZ) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Tucson High Magnet School Badgers (Tucson, AZ), 53-44 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Sahuaro advances its record to 14-5 on the year. The Cougars travel to Cholla (Tucson, AZ) to face the Chargers in a non-league match on Friday, January 10. The Chargers enter the match with a record of 0-11. Cholla lost 74-9 in their recent non-league match against Buena (Sierra Vista, AZ)

The Badgers now own a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Canyon del Oro for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 14. Tucson High Magnet School will face a Dorados squad coming off a 64-33 non-league loss to Ironwood Ridge (Tucson, AZ). The Dorados record now stands at 3-11.
