January 9, 2025: New Port Richey, FL 34652 The Gulf Buccaneers (New Port Richey, FL) basketball were winner over the visiting Palm Harbor University Hurricanes (Palm Harbor, FL), 25-16 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Buccaneers now possess a 8-3 record. They play next when they host Cypress Creek for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 14. Gulf will play a Coyotes team coming off a 59-37 league loss to Wesley Chapel (Wesley Chapel, FL). The Coyotes record now stands at 7-8.
With the loss, Palm Harbor University falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to St. Petersburg (St. Petersburg, FL) to play the Green Devils in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Green Devils go into the bout with a record of 4-3. St. Petersburg lost 64-46 in their recent non-league bout against East Lake (Tarpon Springs, FL)
