Florida High School Basketball - Gulf thwarts River Ridge
December 9, 2024: New Port Richey, FL 34652 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Gulf Buccaneers (New Port Richey, FL) and the visiting River Ridge Royal Knights (New Port Richey, FL), observed Gulf's basketball team knock off River Ridge by a score of 72-54.
The Buccaneers (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Land O' Lakes (Land O' Lakes, FL). The Gators come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Land O' Lakes was knocked off by Mitchell (New Port Richey, FL), 76-60, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Royal Knights encounter the Pasco Pirates (Dade City, FL) in a challenge, on Wednesday, January 8. River Ridge will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record.
