In Friday's league test, the Wyatt Chaparrals (Fort Worth, TX) basketball squad defeated the visiting Polytechnic Parrots (Fort Worth, TX), by a score of 56-41.

Coming up next, the Chaparrals play the South Hills Scorpions (Fort Worth, TX) in a 5A Region I District 7 bout, on Tuesday, January 13. Wyatt will attempt to move on its 7-13 season record. The Scorpions go into the bout with a 6-11 record after their 84-39 league loss to Arlington Heights (Fort Worth, TX).
