October 2, 2025: Nixon, NV 89424 In Thursday's league outing, the Pyramid Lake Lakers (Nixon, NV) football squad trounced the visiting McDermitt Bulldogs (McDermitt, NV), by a margin of 58-8.
The Lakers now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eureka for a 1A Northern (8 Man) game on Saturday, October 11. Pyramid Lake will battle a Vandals team coming off a 53-0 league win over Owyhee (Owyhee, NV). The Vandals record now stands at 2-4.
The Bulldogs (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Mineral County (Hawthorne, NV). The Serpents enter the 1A Northern (8 Man) game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Mineral County overwhelmed Virginia City (Virginia City, NV), 46-8, in a league game.
