Carlin Railroaders (Carlin, NV) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Pyramid Lake Lakers (Nixon, NV), 56-20 in a league battle.

With the win, Carlin upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Railroaders host Virginia City (Virginia City, NV) to meet the Muckers in a 1A Northern (8 Man) test on Friday, September 26. The Muckers come into the test with a record of 2-2. Virginia City lost 68-22 in their recent non-league test against Mammoth (Mammoth Lakes, CA)

With the defeat, Pyramid Lake drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Lakers travel to Owyhee (Owyhee, NV) to meet the Braves in a 1A Northern (8 Man) challenge on Saturday, September 27. The Braves go into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Owyhee lost 47-0 in their recent league challenge against Wells (Wells, NV)
