The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Carlin Railroaders (Carlin, NV) and the host Wells Leopards (Wells, NV), saw Carlin's football team prevail over Wells by a final score of 26-13.

With the win, Carlin advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Railroaders host McDermitt (McDermitt, NV) to encounter the Bulldogs in a 1A Northern (8 Man) bout on Friday, September 5. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

The Leopards now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Virginia City for a 1A Northern (8 Man) bout on Friday, September 5. Wells will encounter a Muckers team coming off a 16-14 non-league win over Loyalton (Loyalton, CA). The Muckers record now stands at 1-1.
