California High School Football - Oakmont sneaks past Center

October 3, 2025: Roseville, CA 95661

The Oakmont Vikings football squad scored 27 points and limited the visiting Center Cougars to 26 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now hold a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln for a Pioneer Valley League challenge on Friday, October 10. Oakmont will face a Fighting Zebras team coming off a 28-27 league win over Bear River (Grass Valley, CA). The Fighting Zebras record now stands at 5-1.

The Cougars (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Colfax (Colfax, CA). The Falcons go into the Pioneer Valley League challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Colfax was edged by Wheatland (Wheatland, CA), 51-33, in a league challenge.
