In Friday's league game, the Defiance Bulldogs (Defiance, OH) football team edged the host Kenton Wildcats (Kenton, OH), by a margin of 43-42.

The Bulldogs now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Elida for a Western Buckeye outing on Friday, October 10. Defiance will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 45-21 league win over Celina (Celina, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-3.
