The McLane Highlanders football squad scored 42 points and limited the visiting Torres Toros to 0 in the Highlanders league triumph on Friday.

The Highlanders now hold a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host Roosevelt for a North Yosemite test on Thursday, October 9. McLane will face a Rough Riders team coming off a 19-0 league win over Sunnyside (Fresno, CA). The Rough Riders record now stands at 6-0.

The Toros (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Sanger West (Fresno, CA). The Hornets go into the North Yosemite challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Sanger West bounced Madera South (Madera, CA), 49-0, in a league challenge.
