The Boerne-Champion Chargers (Boerne, TX) volleyball knocked off the host Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX), 3-0 in Friday's league bout.

The Chargers now possess a 23-5 record. They play next when they host Alamo Heights for a 5A Region IV District 26 bout on Friday, October 10.

With the loss, Smithson Valley falls to 23-12 on the year. The Rangers travel to Alamo Heights (San Antonio, TX) to battle the Mules in a 5A Region IV District 26 contest on Tuesday, October 7.
