The Nemaha Central Thunder volleyball squad (Seneca, KS), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Riley County Falcons (Riley, KS)

With the win, Riley County improves its record to 18-11 on the season. The Falcons travel to Clay Center (Clay Center, KS) to battle the Tigers in a non-league contest on Saturday, October 4. The Tigers enter the contest with a record of 19-2. Clay Center won 2-0 in their recent league contest against Abilene (Abilene, KS)

Next, the Thunder encounter the Beloit Trojans (Beloit, KS) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 4. Nemaha Central will attempt to improve on its 18-14 season record. The Trojans go into the battle with a 20-4 record after their 2-1 league win over Southeast of Saline (Gypsum, KS).
