Virginia High School Volleyball - Hickory edged by Great Bridge
October 5, 2023: Chesapeake, VA 23322 The Great Bridge Wildcats held off the visiting Hickory Hawks volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's league test.
The Wildcats now have a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Deep Creek for a Southeastern test on Tuesday, October 10.
The Hawks (11-5) will now prepare for their test against Indian River (Chesapeake, VA). The Braves enter the Southeastern test with a 11-6 record. In their last test, Indian River held off Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA), 3-1, in a league test.
