The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Mohawk Area Warriors (Bessemer, PA) and the visiting Beaver Falls Tigers (Beaver Falls, PA), observed Mohawk Area's football squad defeat Beaver Falls by a count of 21-12.

The Warriors now own a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Freedom Area for a WPIAL AA Midwestern contest on Friday, October 13. Mohawk Area will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 35-0 league loss to Neshannock (New Castle, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-5.
