Mohawk Area Warriors (Bessemer, PA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the visiting New Brighton Lions (New Brighton, PA), 42-6 in a league test.

With the triumph, Mohawk Area improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Ellwood City (Ellwood City, PA) to battle the Wolverine in a WPIAL AA Midwestern test on Friday, September 29. The Wolverine come into the test with a record of 3-2. Ellwood City lost 41-18 in their recent league test against Western Beaver (Industry, PA)

With the loss, New Brighton drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Lions host Neshannock (New Castle, PA) to battle the Lancers in a WPIAL AA Midwestern test on Friday, September 29. The Lancers come into the test with a record of 4-1. Neshannock won 27-26 in their recent league test against Beaver Falls (Beaver Falls, PA)
