Pennsylvania High School Football - Mohawk Area victorious over Laurel

September 8, 2023: Bessemer, PA 16112

In Friday's non-league match, the host Mohawk Area Warriors football squad scored a good 28-6 victory over the Laurel Spartan.

In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Riverside Panthers (Ellwood City, PA) in a WPIAL AA Midwestern match, on Friday, September 15. Mohawk Area will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 24-19 non-league loss to Shenango (New Castle, PA).

The Spartan (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Berlin Brothersvalley (Berlin, PA). The Mountaineers enter the non-league match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, Berlin Brothersvalley thwarted Everett (Everett, PA), 41-13, in a league match.
