Kansas High School Football - Manhattan smashes Junction City

October 7, 2022: Junction City, KS 66441

The Manhattan Indians (Manhattan, KS) football routed the host Junction City Bluejays (Junction City, KS), 44-7 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Indians face the Lansing Lions (Lansing, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 14. Manhattan will attempt to advance on its 6-0 season record. The Lions enter the bout with a 2-4 record after their 32-26 non-league loss to Basehor-Linwood (Basehor, KS).

The Bluejays (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against Topeka (Topeka, KS). The Trojans enter the Centennial bout with a 1-5 record. In their last bout, Topeka was overwhelmed by Washburn Rural (Topeka, KS), 66-6, in a non-league bout.
