Virginia High School Volleyball - Varina overwhelmed by Prince George
October 7, 2024: Prince George, VA 23875 Prince George Royals (Prince George, VA) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Varina Blue Devils (Richmond, VA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Prince George advances its record to 8-6 on the season. The Royals travel to Colonial Heights (Colonial Heights, VA) to face the Colonials in a Central test on Tuesday, October 8. The Colonials go into the test with a record of 7-6. Colonial Heights won 3-1 in their recent league test against Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA)
The Blue Devils now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hanover for a Capital test on Tuesday, October 8. Varina will face a Hawks squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Mechanicsville (Mechanicsville, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 11-0.
