October 9, 2024: Cairo, GA 39828 In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Cairo Syrupmakers softball team scored a tight 4-3 victory over the Colquitt County Packers.
In their next game, the Packers battle the Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA) in a 6A Region 1 match, on Thursday, October 10. Colquitt County will attempt to better on its 18-9 season record. The Vikings go into the match with a 17-8 record after their 5-4 league loss to Camden County (Kingsland, GA).
