The Canton Tigers football team (Canton, MS), was ripped 46-7 in Friday's league challenge with the host Neshoba Central Rockets (Philadelphia, MS)

The Rockets (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Ridgeland (Ridgeland, MS). The Titans come into the 5A Region 2 challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Ridgeland trounced Callaway (Jackson, MS), 29-19, in a league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Forest Hill for a 5A Region 2 challenge on Friday, October 15.
