The Neshoba Central Rockets held off the visiting Vicksburg Gators football team by a count of 10-6 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Neshoba Central upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The Rockets host Callaway (Jackson, MS) to encounter the Chargers in a 5A Region 2 outing on Friday, October 29. The Chargers go into the outing with a record of 3-5. Callaway lost 32-0 in their recent league outing against Holmes County Central (Lexington, MS)

With the loss, Vicksburg moves to 7-3 on the season. The Gators travel to Holmes County Central (Lexington, MS) to encounter the Jaguars in a 5A Region 2 outing on Friday, November 5. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 5-4.
